What a fantastic week –  224 players in 26 events ….

Fortunately the weather held for most of the week however the U10 Boys braved some tough conditions on Sunday morning !!  Our U9’s fared better with the weather !

Super tennis seen all week with a fantastic battle and last match of the day on finals day between Daniel Murray and Finn Fitzgerald Madigan in the U14A Boys singles going down the wire to a tight tie break . The U14 A Girls singles was no different with Susie Nolan and Ruby Walsh going neck and neck in a tie break that ended 14-12 !

We had plenty of Douglas Junior winners on the day too

It wasn’t all about the tennis!! … The Junior Committee laid on some great activities for the Juniors

Finally , we couldn’t have done it without our volunteers working hard in the kitchen each evening to make some yummy crepes and sell all the lovely home baking
